Dell has updated his Inspiron and XPS laptops with the new Intel Core 2 Duo “Penryn”. Dell’s laptop series that feature “Penryn” CPUs are the Inspiron 1420, 1520, and 1720, as well as the XPS M1330 and XPS M1730.
The 14.1-inch Inspiron 1420 now can be configured with the 45nm Core 2 Duo T8100, T8300, T9300, and T9500, while the 15.4-inch 1520 comes with the T8100, T8300, and T9300. The 17-inch 1720 is configurable with the T8300, T9300, and T9500.
In the Dell XPS line, Intel’s 45nm CPUs are available in the 13.3-inch M1330 laptops and in the 17-inch M1730 gaming laptops. The M1330 is available with the Core 2 Duo T8100, T9300 and T9500 CPUS, while the M1730 now comes with the T8300, T9300 and T9500.
